The oil is a bit thick. If applied in a quantity more than required, it might weigh down your hair. My experience says, the heaviness is due to high amount of Castor Oil.

The moment the oil touches the scalp, it gives a mild cooling sensation. Honestly, it feels great. I have an itchy scalp that is round the year dandruff-prone.

Since the arrival, I have applied the hair oil once only as I had to try the other two variants as well. Well! Obviously, it is not possible to wash off all the dandruff in one go only.

Honestly, it is not easy to control hair fall. And also, it would be a blatant lie if I tell you that hair fall can be stopped just using a hair oil.

But, what I always say is, you can easily control the rate of hair fall with a proper hair care routine (that consists of harmful chemical free products).

How to Use Nykaa Naturals Hair Oil Range

There are a number of ways to incorporate these oils into haircare routine. Here are some ideas.

1. The Usual Hair Oil + Shampoo

Use any variant of Nykaa Naturals hair oil before sleeping and rinse off with a mild shampoo in the morning.

You can follow it up with a conditioner as well. At present, I am using Re’equil Hair Conditioner which is giving me quite good result.

2. Hair Oil + Shampoo + Hair Mask

Oil your hair before sleeping at night, rinse off next morning with a paraben and sulphate free shampoo and follow it up with a harsh chemical free hair mask.

You can either prepare a mask at your home or you can buy a readymade.

3. Hair Oil + Shampoo + Hair Wrap

Use hair oil, rinse off with a mild shampoo and dry it off using Nykaa’s microfibre hair wrap.
