A Few Words about the Brand ‘Sadhev’

Sadhev is an Indian Ayurvedic beauty and wellness brand that blends traditional Ayurvedic practices with modern skincare formulations.

The brand focuses on using Ayurvedic herbs, oils, and other botanical ingredients across its range of skincare, haircare, and wellness products.

Its formulations are designed around the idea of bringing traditional Indian beauty rituals into contemporary routines.

Sadhev has gained attention for its premium-looking products and emphasis on Ayurvedic ingredients.

Ingredient Analysis of Sadhev Rose Water

The brand has used 4 simple ingredients to formulate this rose water. Here is the full analysis of all the components:

1. Rosa centifolia (Rose) Petals – 10 mg

The main botanical ingredient, providing the rose-derived skin-conditioning and aromatic properties.

2. Phenoxyethanol

A preservative that helps protect the product from microbial growth.

3. Ethylhexylglycerin

A skin-conditioning ingredient that also works as a preservative booster.

4. Aqua (Water)

The base/solvent in which the other ingredients are dispersed.

The ingredient quantities mentioned on the label are specified for every 10 ml of the product. So, for example, 10 mg of Rosa centifolia (rose) petals is stated to be present in each 10 ml of the rose water.

So, is Sadhev Rose Water steam-distilled?

Yes. the Centifolia Rose petals are steam-distilled to produce the rose water. Its ingredient panel also lists phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin, along with water. Therefore, it is a steam-distilled Centifolia rose-water formulation, not a rose hydrosol.

Also, the formula is totally safe. Don’t worry about the preservatives. Phenoxyethanol is a well-established cosmetic preservative, while ethylhexylglycerin is generally well tolerated.

How to Apply Sadhev Rose Water

How to Apply and What to Pair Rose Water With

There are many ways to apply rose water. This is how I use it.

  1. I clean my face with a gentle face wash.
  2. Pat my face dry with a soft towel.
  3. Hold the rose water bottle about 3–5 inches away from my face and spray it four times across my face and neck.
  4. With light strokes, gently help the rose water settle into my skin.
  5. Thereafter, I apply the Sadhev Aloe Vera and Saffron Gel-based moisturizer for the best results.

Packaging of Sadhev Rose Water

Packaging, Aroma, and Colour of Sadhev Rose Water

The bottle is made of 100% opaque, sturdy, dark glass. The brand is quite thoughtful, I must say. To preserve the purity of an Ayurvedic product, it is always recommended to keep it in a dark container.

The spray nozzle is functional and spritzes just the right amount with every spray.

The aroma resembles fresh rose petals. It is subtle, not overpowering, and reminds me of the purity of the product with every spray.

2 Weeks with Sadhev Rose Water: This is What I felt

The texture of this rose water is just like simple water. It gets absorbed within a few seconds of applying. The fresh fragrance of rose petals is an absolute delight. This can be an ideal rose water especially during scorching summer.

Skin feels soft, smooth, and hydrated post-application. It also helps my daily moisturizer to absorb and blend more perfectly. I apply it twice a day and it gives me a fresh feel immediately.

One 150ml bottle can easily last around 1.5 months if 3 spritzes are applied twice a day.
